2010 will be coming to a close soon. X'mas is just round the corner and the festive spirit is thick in the air. Following that we will be ushering in the New Year. Time really flies and in the wink of an eye, the new year 2011 will be upon us shortly.
Mutiara Lions will be organising their annual Charity fund raiser on 31 December 2010. The annual Charity Countdown will be held at the Sunshine Banquet Hall, Sunshine Square, Bayan Baru Penang from 9.00 p.m. till 1.00 a.m on 01 January 2011 to bid "adieu" to 2010 and welcome 2011.
This fund raiser event will raise funds for the recently launched LIONS GTM-PANTAI PENANG MEDICAL FUND to assist the needy in need of medical attention especially those requiring surgical procedures at the Pantai Hospital, Penang.
Patrons and supporters of the event are guaranteed an evening of fun; gaiety, excellent food; free flow of beverage including beer and liquor; dancing; lucky draws and a raffle draw all for a worthy and noble cause...to help the less fortunate in our community. The "Starz Live Band" will be on hand to provide entertainment the entire evening. Tickets are priced at a mere RM100.00.
