Region 1 Joint Installation - 12 August 2009
The Region One Joint Installation of Presidents and Boards of Directors for fiscal year 2009-2010 saw twelve participating clubs being installed by District Governor Choong Kwei Loi at the Traders Hotel on 12 August 2009. Guest of Honour was TYT Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang, Tun Dato' Seri Utama (Dr) Haji Abdul Rahman B. Haji Abbas and his consort YABhg Toh Puan Dato' Seri Utama Hajah Majimor Bt Sharif. Also present to grace the function were LCI International Director Hajjah Ellis Suriyati, MD 308 Council Chairperson Simon Koh, PCC Allan Cheah, PCC Jeffrey Quah, PDG Dato' Khoo Kay Huat and other Lions dignitaries. It was a grand occasion befitting the installation
