Our Chinese New Year Charity Dinner and Dance for the Elders, Underprivileged Children and Handicapped has received tremendous support. Current participation is at 75 tables including 262 invitees. The Guest of Honour for the evening is LCI's International Director Hajjah Ellis Suriyati (all the way from Kuching). Other Lions dignitaries attending are Immediate Past District Governor Kenneth Saw & Lady Girlie Saw, 2nd Vice District Governor Shawn Lee and Past District Governor Dato' Khoo Kay Huat & Datin Loo Kuai Hong and several Cabinet Officers in the region.A full programme has been planned out by the Organising Committee led by 2nd VP Lion Tina Tan and the evening promises to be one full of entertainment for one and all. There will be singing presentations, Choir singing and dance exhibition by dance competition champions.
Mutiara Lions are advised that the dress code for this evening will be traditional chinese wear (RED) with Club Vest.
