| Mutiara Lions at the Stall |
Mutiara Lions participated in ntv7's Yuan Carnival to help raise funds for the Parent-Teachers Association of SJK(C) Shang Wu in Penang on Saturday 28 August 2010 at the school grounds in Jalan Sekolah La Salle, Air Itam, Penang.
The Club set up a stall selling satay, dragon ball biscuits and organic Soap in support of the school. Organising Chairperson of the project, 2nd VP Monica Sio and other members of the Club including PCC Allan Cheah, PDG Dato' Khoo Kay Huat, ZC Alan Cheah, DC May Cheah, 3rd VP Gertrude Soong and PP R. Ganeson and his family helped out at the stall.

Headmaster of the school, Lion Koay Poy Teik a member of the Club was very appreciative of the Club's support at this event which managed to raise RM100,000.00 for the coffers of the school's PTA and thanked his fellow Lions for their efforts in support of the school.
The Club managed to contribute RM1,000.00 from its stall thanks to the selling and persuasive marketing skills of the Lions present on that day.
