Mutiara Lions participated in an appreciation dinner in honour of Past International Director Hajjah Ellis Suriyati organised by the Lions Club of George Town on 01 August 2010 at the Cititel Hotel, Penang. Together with some 150 lions and lionesses, our members paid tribute to PID Ellis who had during her two year tenure as International Director from 2008-2010 actively support our Club's activities. PID Ellis graced our Club's Chinese New Year Gathering with the Elders, Orphans and Handicapped in February 2010 as Guest of Honour and made a generous cash contribution towards the project besides distributing soft toys to the children invitees. She also graced our Club's 22nd Charter Anniversary on 15 May 2010 whereat she contributed generously to the Lions GTM-Pantai Penang Medical Fund.
