WELL DONE MUTIARA LIONS!

CONGRATULATIONS to all Mutiara Lions!
The recently concluded Chinese New Year Charity Dinner & Dance with the Elders, Underprivileged Children and Handicapped held on 23 February 2010 at the Han Chiang High School Hall was an astounding success. All  720 attendees including 262 distinguished invitees went home with happy hearts and smiling faces, a testimony of the enjoyable time they had with us. Lions dignitaries were elated at the magnitude  and excellent quality of events planned for the evening to entertain all who were present.
In a departure from the norm, lions protocol was kept to a minimum (so as not to bore the non Lion patrons) and the evening was one of non stop entertainment from the word go. Non stop singing performances on stage coupled with dance demonstrations on the dance floor was the order of the evening.
The eight course sit-down dinner, blended well with the  official and entertainment programme and this kept everyone happy and occupied. As one lion dignitary mentioned to our President ... "there was not a moment of dull time, it was action all the way". Yet another mentioned ... "this is the best lions function I have ever attended".
The post mortem meeting of the organising committee was held last night and the result was ... the surplus was in excess of RM8,000.00.
Well done Mutiara Lions, yet again we set the standards and the Pearl shines ever bright. ROAR!
